Why Ethics & Compliance Are Important to Us
Sustainable corporate management needs clear values, practiced responsibility, and binding regulations. We strive to build trust with our employees, customers, partners, and the broader society.
We thereby follow these basic principles:
- Transparency in our decisions and processes
- Responsibilities that are clearly defined and accepted
- Prevention of risks and misconduct by identifying and avoiding them at an early stage
Here You Will Find:

Codes of Ethics
RESPONSIBILITY AND SUSTAINABILITY HAVE MANY FACES
Our Code of Conduct and additional corporate guidelines, such as our Declaration of Principles, set clear standards for ethical and lawful conduct worldwide and across all locations. These codes are based on international frameworks such as the UN Global Compact and form the foundation of our ethical self-image. They apply to all employees, managers, and business partners alike.
Sustainability Standards
OUT OF OBLIGATION AND BELIEF
Grenzebach believes that sustainable business practices and social responsibility are the basis for a just world worth living in. This is why the Group follows recognized sustainability standards—including the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). In this way, we strengthen our commitment to sustainability and responsible business conduct.

“Standards such as the UN Global Compact are not just general frameworks for us, but guidelines that mirror our values and beliefs in the areas of human rights, labor standards, environmental protection, and anti-corruption.”
Our Commitment to Integrity
Compliance—Not Only With Regulations
Our compliance strategy combines clear rules with an active approach to raising awareness. The aim is to identify risks at an early stage and avoid misconduct.
Our focus:
- Prevention of corruption and zero tolerance
- Transparency measures and reporting systems
- Training for employees
This is how we cultivate a culture in which integrity is an inherent part of everything we do.
Company Values & Social Responsibility
Our values are reflected in our daily work and our social commitment. With our beGrenzebach initiative, we promote a sense of responsibility within the company, as well as social projects and volunteering. We not only want to be economically successful, but also to make a positive contribution to society.
Risk Management & Internal Inspections
A working risk management system is essential for sustainable company management. We utilize structured risk analyses, internal control mechanisms, and effective measures to mitigate risks.
Our tools include:
- Compliance risk analyses
- Internal audits
- Early warning systems and action plans
Data Privacy & Information Security
The protection of confidential data is a mandatory requirement. Therefore, we have established comprehensive data protection measures and a systematic information security management system (ISMS). These protect not only internal information, but also the trust of our customers and partners.
Examples of Success
PRACTICAL IMPLEMENTATION
Value-oriented leadership is reflected in concrete actions. We regularly implement projects in interdisciplinary teams that strengthen ethical behavior, compliance, or social responsibility, from local initiatives to global partnerships.
The following practical examples show how ethics and sustainability are practiced every day at Grenzebach.
Whistleblower System Introduced
A confidential whistleblower system offers employees and partners the opportunity to report irregularities anonymously, thereby promoting active contributions to transparency and compliance.
Supply Chain Due Diligence Implemented
Grenzebach conducts regular risk analyses and supplier self-assessments to ensure that human rights, environmental standards, and ethical criteria are also adhered to in the supply chain.
beGrenzebach Initiative: Grenzebach Helps
As part of “Grenzebach Helps”, our trainees participate in social activities for the region, for example, through fundraising campaigns or educational projects.
