HAMLAR/Germany. Grenzebach, a leading provider of automation solutions, continues its growth trajectory in the field of Friction Stir Welding (FSW) with a significant order valued at €8 million. This investment from one of the largest automobile manufacturers and a supplier confirms customer satisfaction with the company's innovative FSW technology and paves the way for new advancements in electromobility.
The specially developed DSM 30-14 machines, equipped with unique clamping fixtures, meet high customer demands for speed and quality in the welding process. "Grenzebach's technology has not only convinced our customers but also serves as proof of our innovative strength and our consistent commitment to providing and implementing tailored solutions," explains Christian Herfert, Senior Vice President of Special Technologies.
Battery trays welded using FSW technology contribute to promoting sustainable mobility. Additionally, Grenzebach has received another order for retrofitting valued at €2 million from an existing automotive supplier.
