Video “Apprenticeship makes a career”

Dual training is the optimal career entry for young people, especially in Bavarian Swabia. Companies in the region rely predominantly on dual-trained skilled workers. The IHK corporate video Apprenticeship makes a career shows why vocational training will become even more important in the future.

Living their values and showing social commitment: that’s what apprentices in their second year of training do with a special project in which they decide on an aid program in the region and implement it sustainably.

Apprentice Award

We recognize social commitment, by presenting an annual award during the apprentice workshop in autumn. There are vouchers and event tickets to be won.

Journeyman celebration

The end of the apprenticeship is celebrated in style at Grenzebach. The IHK and training certificates are presented and apprentices, trainers and Dr. Steven Althaus have dinner together.

Training German Style

“German-style” training

In the U.S. state of Georgia, there is now a “German-style” apprenticeship for prospective industrial mechanics. It’s revolutionary for North America. From its Newnan location, Grenzebach is working hard to promote dual training. This effort has also resulted in a “Prosperity Award”.
