10,280 Euro for local relief
Grenzebach delivers donations to social institutions in Hamlar and Bad Hersfeld – employees donate at Company Christmas parties
Think globally, act locally: For Grenzebach employees, social responsibility is an integral part of their work. The “Kinder- und Jugendhilfe Donauries” (Donauries Children and Youth Aid), “Hospizgruppe Donauries” (Donauries Hospice Group), “Stiftung Hospital Bad Hersfeld“ (Hospital Bad Hersfeld Foundation), “Bahnhofsmission Bad Hersfeld” (Bad Hersfeld Railway Mission) and “Freundeskreis Bad Hersfeld” (Friends of Bad Hersfeld) received donations in the amount of 10,280 euros. The Grenzebach locations in Bavaria and Hesse collected money for these social institutions at their Christmas parties, and the company gave donations instead of gifts to customers.
"As an economically successful company, it’s important for us to support institutions that help people in need," says Uwe Heinrich, Chief Financial Officer of the Grenzebach Group. He thanked the employees in Hamlar and Bad Hersfeld for their continuous commitment to donate during the Christmas celebrations.
The donations at a glance:
- The Hospizgruppe Donauries received an employee donation of 3,280 euros.
- Die Kinder- und Jugendhilfe Donauries received a corporate donation of 2,500 euros.
- Freundeskreis Bad Hersfeld received an employee donation of 2,000 euros.
- The Stiftung Hospital Bad Hersfeld and Bahnhofsmission Bad Hersfeld each received a corporate donation of 1,250 euros.
