Since 2006 we have brought our experience in glass plant construction to the production of thin-film photovoltaic modules manufacturing facilities. Grenzebach takes over the planning and total automation of a thin film facility. Front and back end technology includes conveyor systems, washing, cutting and stacking technology as well as accumulators, robot handlers, inspection systems, laser processing and much more. Highly precise and gentle treatment of the sensitive substrates is our main objective. Simulation, MES and guidance systems for steering the line functions determine and synchronize the production process.
As well as the production facilities for thin-film photovoltaic modules, we now also offer production facilities for mirror modules used in concentrated solar power (CSP) and fully automated solutions for the manufacturing of modules with concentrated photovoltaic (CPV).
