In january 2006 Grenzebach Automation GmbH was founded as a merger of the Karlsruhe high-tech companies Grenzebach Fördertechnik GmbH, Grenzebach Onero GmbH and AAT GmbH. Due to this fusion of expertise we are able to launch new innovative products, on basis of our large existing product range.

In 1996 AAT GmbH was founded by specialists of automation technology and soon became an important partner for machinery in the automotive supply industry. With its assortment of low-cost-systems and high-class automated installations AAT GmbH established itself as a successful certified supplier of all considerable automobile groups. AAT GmbH became a member of Grenzebach-Group in 2005.

Onero GmbH arised as a management-by-out from ABB Airport Technologies GmbH in 2003. The founders developed an automated baggage loading and unloading system which proved its operative efficiency in its first installation at Zürich international Airport. In 2004 Grenzebach Onero GmbH was formed as a successful merger of Grenzebach and Onero.

Grenzebach Fördertechnik GmbH was founded as an engineering office in Karlsruhe in 2001. Focused on construction and project management for partners of the automotive industry, the skilled team of Grenzebach Fördertechnik, with its customer proximity, overtook the objective of innovative conveyor technology in the Grenzebach-Group.
