Our Subsidiary in the Far East: Grenzebach Machinery (Shanghai) Ltd.
Shanghai is recognized as "the gateway to the Chinese market" and is the leading address for business in the Far East. This city on the Huangpu River boasts a population of approximately 14 million people. With the opening of our office in the Apollo Business Building in 1998, Grenzebach Maschinenbau GmbH established its presence in this important location to better serve the Chinese market. Since 2000 Grenzebach enlarged its aktivities by opening Grenzebach Machinery (Shanghai) Ltd. in the Minshen Industrial Park. This subsidiary will be a partner to all Grenzebach customers in China, not only for projekt handling and service, but also with an own production facility.
Dr. Tao Wang, an engineer and native of Shanghai, is General Manager Grenzebach Machinery (Shanghai) Ltd. Dr. Wang has worked for Grenzebach since the beginning of 1996. Before that, he spent time in Germany as a student in Aachen.
